Welcome Joe Evenson!

Joe Evenson has always centered his life around faith and service. In Joe’s most recent vocation, he served as Chief Program Officer of Make-A-Wish South Dakota and Montana, granting more than 500 wishes to children with critical illnesses by coordinating a team, donors, and hospital outreach. The experience he gained as a strategist there makes him capable of crafting new ways to multiply donations for the greater benefit of the gospel, including building important relationships, strategic planning, and passionately serving those in need.

Since 2018, he has also lived out Christian values by ministering to the Storm football team as their chaplain.  Joe had worked hard to build relationships and business expertise as a loyal leader at a variety of roles before Make-A-Wish, including student success director and adjunct faculty at National American University and academic coordinator and coach at Augustana University.

Joe has a master’s degree and has obtained certification as a nonprofit professional by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. His strong business, communication, and leadership skills, as well as his passion for service, make him a perfect fit to be a forward-thinking president to further grow Kingdom Capital Fund’s impact.

As Kingdom Capital Fund’s president and CEO, Joe is excited to support our mission to multiply donations of time, talent, and treasure to share the gospel, train spiritual leaders, and meet the needs of the least of these. His personal mission is to live a life of service to others while becoming a better husband, father, leader, and most importantly, a better follower of Jesus.

Joe welcomes your notes of encouragement and prayer as he transitions into his new role.
